Harm Deleu

After living in Kortrijk, Ghent, and Tbilisi, Harm found his home in Brussels nearly fifteen years ago. The city offers him familiarity and friendships, but also surprises, challenges, and the occasional frustration. He is fascinated by urban dynamics and by the practices that respond to them and help shape them.

In recent years, he has contributed to a wide range of projects, including work on integration and civic orientation, urban networks, the Antwerp practice of Kadans wonen, and the Bulgarian diaspora in Ghent. He carried out this work at institutions such as Odisee University of Applied Sciences, AP University of Applied Sciences and Arts, and the University of Antwerp.

In 2025, he completed his PhD on the role of volunteers in supporting people experiencing homelessness. In the future, he hopes to continue exploring urban life and contribute even more to initiatives that strengthen social cohesion.
