As a University of Applied Sciences and Arts, AP is more than a higher education institution. It is a place where everyone can develop their full potential, both personally and professionally. A place where you grow into a skilled professional or artist, ready to make a meaningful and lasting contribution to a constantly changing society.

Vision

AP is a pluralistic University of Applied Sciences and Arts that believes strong individuals are the driving force behind collective progress. We give students from diverse backgrounds, with different talents and ambitions, the opportunity to develop to their full potential in a safe and stimulating environment. We encourage them to discover what they are capabel of and find their own path. At their own pace and with the right support, they build the confidence and skills they need to step into the labour market and the wider world.

At AP, the student comes first. We embrace diversity and believe inclusion should be more than a buzzword; everyone should feel welcome and valued. We challenge and inspire our students, continually raising the bar while encouraging them to believe in their own abilities. Critical thinking and sustainable action are at the heart of an AP education. Students develop not only professional and specialist expertise, but also the soft skills that strengthen their position in the labour market. Within our Schools of Arts, we pursue artistic excellence and relevance, both locally and internationally. We want our students to embrace new challenges, lifelong learning and above all, to have the courage and passion to take the lead in society.
