Niki Bulckmans graduated as an occupational therapist and began her career at the Center for Ambulatory Rehabilitation (Oostakker, Belgium). While working, she obtained a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy Sciences (Ghent University, 2016). Since 2014, she has been working part-time as a lecturer in occupational therapy at AP University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Antwerp. She initially combined this with a position as an occupational therapist in special education (BuBaO Groenlaar) and now combines it with her own private practice.
Within the occupational therapy program, she teaches courses related to children and adults with atypical development and professional reasoning. She is also a member of OKE (the Occupational Therapy Support and Knowledge Center).
