As a researcher, practice lecturer, and self-employed dietitian, I have built up my expertise in health promotion over the years. I am deeply inspired by motivating people to lead healthier lives. Healthy living and healthy eating are multifaceted concepts, which is reflected in my broad and diverse areas of interest and specialization, including nutrition, sports, physical activity, body composition, health, prevention, multidisciplinary collaboration, and translating accurate nutritional information to a wide—and sometimes hard-to-reach—audience. Nutrition is a dynamic science, which continually motivates me to engage in further research.
As a researcher, my aim is to gain new insights into eating habits and perceptions among diverse groups. These insights are then translated into practical actions that support a healthy lifestyle and yield long-term benefits.
