As from this academic year, our two Schools of Arts, the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, are commencing with an English language programme. It is now possible to obtain a Master's degree in Music or a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. The Royal Academy of Fine Arts is the first and thus the only Flemish institution for higher art education offering an English language fine arts programme. 
Towards the end of April, AP University College hosted its first interdisciplinary international week. Students and lecturers from partner universities all over Europe, as well as some from AP University College itself, gathered together to discuss the topics of nutrition & dietetics, mobile city marketing and entrepreneurship.
Last week Plantijn University College greeted it’s second group of international students during the Erasmus welcome week and welcome day. Students from partner universities in Turkey, Bulgaria, The Netherlands, Germany, France, Sweden and many more all gathered to explore the city and get acquainted with each other as they begin their journey in Antwerp.
Ulpu (27) and Juulia (27) are two friendly Finnish girls who did a 4 month internship in the Sint-Augustinus hospital in Wilrijk. In Finland they study biomedical laboratory sciences, but here in Antwerp they worked in a lab where they do research on how to fight mutations of prostate cancer.
From November 16th till November 19th 2015 the Bachelors of Communication Management and Journalism of Artesis Plantijn University College Antwerp  are organising the 9th edition of the International Communication Days together with  Erasmus University College Brussels.

Four students from AP University College left from 12th till 23th September to Poland. They took part in a project WalkAbout2014 GGULIVRR@Lödz together with about 20 other students from Finland, Ireland and Poland. 
Young people who study or train abroad not only gain knowledge in specific disciplines, but also strengthen key transversal skills which are highly valued by employers. A new study on the impact of the European Union's Erasmus student exchange programme shows that graduates with international experience fare much better on the job market.
