Our current students come from as many as 44 different countries! Approximately 30% of the students in our Music programme and 80% of our Dance programme come from abroad.

As the jazz department of the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp wants to focus on practical education, embedded in the international arts landscape, it facilitates every year an international coaching project in which a number of outstanding students get the chance to play together with an international honored performer. This year they will work for a week under the direction of  the American trumpet virtuoso Ambrose Akinmusire around the music of his latest album, The Imagined Savior's Far Easier to Paint.
SoundMine 2017SoundMine is an international composition course with intensive coaching by top-level coaches who are composers themselves. Young people and adults with a passion for composing and creating will spend five days working intensively towards a presentation during which the works created will be shown and performed.
