International Module ‘Changing Society: an international and interdisciplinary perspective’ 

Our international module OS-ChanSo (2 weeks – 6 ECTS) will help you develop two key competences that are of great importance to you as a future professional: creativity and interdisciplinary collaboration. Students of occupational therapy and social work combine perspectives and strengths. You will learn all about working in a very diverse and globalized context. With a focus on reflection, theory, hands-on work, this two weeks module offers you an out of the box – experience. You will have the opportunity to participate in seminars, workshops and field visits, all aiming at a streetwise and innovative professional practice.

During the programme you will collaborate closely with other students and experts and learn all about the fascinating crossover between occupational therapy and social work. The focus of the programme is on how society is changing. For the times the module is organized in Belgium the focus is on the Antwerp metropolitan context.

Who can participate?

  • Occupational Therapy students (bachelor). The course is designed for students occupational therapy.
  • Social Work students (Bachelor) from all different backgrounds are welcome to enroll: social work, social case work, social studies, youth- and community work, social pedagogy, social cultural work, social educational care work,… all are welcome to join. 

You can participate if you are a student from one of our partner universities. We promote diversity, also in our international module.  Are you interested in our module and your university is not one of our partners yet? Please ask your International Office to contact ours.

This module can be combined with a traineeship if you wish to come as an Erasmus student. A minimum of 20 ECTS will be required for an Erasmus exchange semester.
