Rob Frans, a third year student Remedial Education (special needs) at Plantijn, could not resist the call for adventure. In August 2012 he left to South Africa for 5 months to do a work placement in a primary school in Plettenbergbaai.Rob gave individual lessons and homework support and helped with the general assistance of the educational system.
From 10th until 22nd March 2013, during two weeks, twenty-one journalism students from five different European partner institutions - from Spain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Turkey and Sweden - prepared, produced and analyzed new radio formats, using interactive and social media platforms. Coordinator of this project is the bachelor of Journalism from Plantijn, the venue for this year's edition of the IP.
Wednesday the 27th of March, we organized a plenary session with lecturers from Plantijn University College and professionals from the work field.
From 17th till 19th April 2013, Plantijn Hogeschool is organizing the sixth edition of the International Communication Days in cooperation with Erasmus University College Brussels. During these days, lectures, presentations and workshops related to the broad field of communication will be given by teachers from partner institutions from all over Europe.
Sunday 17th of March, 24 students and their coaches arrived in Antwerp for the IP ETHICOD.

From December 13th to 21st 2012, the annual International Project Week took place in the Electromechanical engineering programme of the department of Science and Technics.All 114 final-year students worked in a multidisciplinary team of 4 students towards a proposal solution for a current industrial project. Projects were offered by around 15 industrial companies from the region.
