How to apply

 Application deadlines - academic year 2017-2018:

1st semester (autumn semester):1st May 2017 - Selection and approval before 15th May
2nd semester (spring semester)1st November 2017 - Selection and approval before 15th November

Step 1 - Nomination by e-mail
An informational e-mail needs to be sent from the partner institution to the AP International office (incomingstudents@ap.be), informing us that you are officially selected as an incoming student.

Step 2 - Online Application

 for JAP studentsa Video CV of 1min30 sec, format 720 25p (=HD-ready) of 1080 25p (Full HD). In this video you tell us who you are and why it is so important for you to take part in the programme. You use the upload tool www.wetransfer.com to send your video to nadia.vissers@ap.be before the deadline. The JAP coordinator will check the videos on language and creativity to decide whether you’re the right student for the JAP-programme. Moreover, your video will be used to introduce you to the lecturers and fellow students of the programme, so make sure you produce an inspiring video!”VideoCV_lastname_firstname

 

For study only: download the correct course list. Select your courses with the help of your international office/coordinator and/or our departmental international coordinator.
A minimum of 20 ECTS per semester is required unless otherwise specified.

For EPS you need to take up the full 30 ECTS as described in the brochure, so there is no selection to be made.

Step 3 - Learning agreement

Do not forget to send us your Erasmus+ learning agreement before arrival. Our departmental international coordinator will send a signed copy back to you.

Step 4 - Selection

Make sure to send in all documents before the deadline or your application will not be taken into consideration.  

After the deadline, a selection will take place by the international coordinator at AP. You will be advised about your acceptance/refusal by email after 2 weeks (3 weeks for EPS)


After acceptance

If you have been selected, you will receive more information on practical topics such as accommodation, registration, welcome week, etc.

In case you need an invitation letter for visa purposes, please send an e-mail to incomingstudents@ap.be

In case of any changes to your learning agreement after arrival, the international office of the student's home institution will be notified within a month after arrival at Artesis Plantijn.

Within 5 weeks after the end of your exchange period, a Transcript of Records will be sent to the international office of the student's home institution.

 

This procedure does not apply for the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and for the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp.
