Steve Pille is one of the MAXlab researchers. MAXLab is the research platform of the Multimedia department within Graphic Design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. This research platform focuses on contemporary cross-media experiment and research into new forms of expression in the visual arts. Besides being a lecturer in the Graphic Design program at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, he specializes in creating artistic visuals, both personally and in projects with students.
He has fifteen years of experience in artistic research within various national and international institutes such as Design Academy Eindhoven, Aalto University Helsinki, Polish Japanese school in Warsaw and has a broad historical knowledge of multimedia.
