Selin Geerinckx holds a MSc degree in interior architecture (KU Leuven). As PhD and assistant, Selin is currently enrolled at the Faculty of Design Sciences (Deptartment Interior Architecture) of the University of Antwerp.
Her research on the notion of ‘movement’ is to be framed within the genealogy of the discipline of interior architecture in postwar Flanders. During her master studies she did preliminary research in Saint-Petersburg for an exhibition by Koen Deprez. Furthermore, Selin was an intern at the Brussels architecture office B-ILD and traveled to Japan for an internship at the renowned junya.ishigami+associates in Tokyo.
