Ine Vanoeveren obtained her PhD at the University of California, San Diego in 2016 and has been conducting artistic research on contemporary performance practice and performance practice methods for several years. During her doctoral research, she focused on the development of a performance practice method for flute solo by Brian Ferneyhough. In addition to an international solo carrier, she plays regularly with several ensembles, including Ictus, Spectra ensemble en HERMESensemble.
Ine Vanoeveren is a professor in contemporary music at the Royal Conservatory of Liège and at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp. Next to her executive functions, she hosts the new artistic research group ‘Creatie’ at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp. She is a welcome guest speaker at various international universities.

Met dit onderzoek wil Ine Vanoeveren het muzikale monodrama verder ontwikkelen en uitpuren op drie vlakken: de ontwikkeling en notatie van een muzikaal monodrama, de ontplooiing van de uitvoerder en de mogelijke, uitdagende dragers voor (video)archivering.
Winnie Huang's interdisciplinaire doctoraatsonderzoek bekijkt het samenwerkingsproces van compositie en uitvoering van muzikaal-gesturale stukken.
