Elisabet Van Wymeersch was trained as a political scientist and obtained her PhD in Urban Development at the University of Antwerp.
In recent years, she has worked as a researcher, lecturer, and project coordinator at the University of Antwerp and Het Pandschap Gent, focusing on urbanity, housing, solidarity, and social change.
